À propos de cet audio

Listeners around the world have thrilled to Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, and Killing Jesus - riveting works of nonfiction that journey into the heart of the most famous murders in history. Now, from Bill O'Reilly, anchor of The O'Reilly Factor, comes the most epic book of all in this multimillion-selling series: Killing Patton.

General George S. Patton, Jr., died under mysterious circumstances in the months following the end of World War II. For almost 70 years, there has been suspicion that his death was not an accident - and may very well have been an act of assassination. Killing Patton will take listeners inside the final year of the war and recount the events surrounding Patton's tragic demise, naming names of the many powerful individuals who wanted him silenced.

This story is fascinating. I learned a lot about Patton and the Second World War are. The narration is also excellent anyone who enjoys biography history will enjoy listening to the audio version of this book.

I've listened to 4 or 5 of the books in The Killing Series! I enjoyed this as much as the rest!

Great lesson in history!

Very interesting and horrific at times to learn of some of the worst behaviour in human history. As a Canadian we often do not hear very much about the American role in the World Wars so I appreciated learning about some of the key battles from an American perspective.

Amazing historical work

The title fooled me. From the description, I was expecting to hear pertinent information about the unusual death of this WW2 hero. Other than a few lines at the beginning and the author's theory of what might have happened at the end, there was no other information pertinent to the circumstances surrounding General Patton's death! It was just an abbreviated biography of the man and the role he played in the war, which is covered in all books related to that period in history. I don't think I'll be spending any more money on the "Killing" book series.

Disappointed
