Kingdom Society is a well-read audiobook by the author. He puts a ton of theatrics and heart into his performance, and works on giving each character their own voice. I could tell right away that this was read by someone who enjoys the performance piece of audiobooks.

From a story, to me this was a portal fantasy which merges elements of the Assassin's Apprentice with the Sorcerer's Apprentice. It takes the reader on a journey to defeat an almost impossible foe called the Black Hood. It is an exciting adventure which mixes typical fantasy, with contemporary elements. Definitely worth a listen for anyone who is a fan of found family led adventures to defeat a dark, and evil villain.
