I’m not gonna lie, I am obsessed with anything Rina Kent writes. Killian was my favourite in the LOG series until Niko came along. But the glimpses we got of Gareth in his book and in others, had me definitely wanting more. Ms. Kent did not disappoint with this one. Now, there are some definite trigger warnings people should read and I know that MM books are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I read this entire book in one night and then promptly ordered the audiobook as well. Gareth is the perfect combination of sweet, needy and unhinged and I was here for it. Kayden was a complex character and his character development throughout the book was perfect. Two scenes I loved involved Killian and Niko bringing it full circle. Cannot wait for the next one!

Some of the reviews on this book have me baffled. I get if MM isn't your thing - then don't read it! People not enjoying the book is completely valid because not everyone likes the same thing. But I genuinely do not understand people making comments that the author ruined a character SHE created. Personally, I loved Gareth and Kayden and I am so happy we got their story.

Stephen Dexter’s low voice
is very attractive & Grayson Owen’s voice acting is soooo good. The subtle performance in details brings the story to another level. I shed tears when he shows how sad the MC is. It’s one of my fav audiobooks and I have repeatedly listened to it.

Omg i didn’t expect this to be a 5 star. I loved Gareth as a person. He is such a koala. Kay and Gareth were perfection in this book and I will read this over and over again. Thank you queen Rina

It’s twisted, emotional, and full of tension that keeps you on edge (and maybe a little obsessed yourself). If you love morally gray characters, power dynamics, and stories that blur the line between love and destruction — this one’s a must-listen!
