If you loved Prophet, you will embrace Kit. This story is a wonderful addition to the Scarred Hearts series. Pain, regret, loss, and assumptions, coupled with love, forgiveness, and second chances. It's filled with suspense and drama, crime and danger, yet at the root of it all, it's about first loves and second chances. Kit screams wounded soul but his loyalty and regard for those he cares for takes precedence over his pride and pain. He is a charter worth rooting for and story worth investing in. The overall feeling of the book checks all the boxes, for you can't help but want Kit's heart to heal and Caro's regrets to rest in the past, all while starring down danger, sleuthing for clues, and letting love in all over again. Loving this series thus far...is there a Logan in our future???
