I think this is the best book in the series. I think every book in this trilogy is amazing and worth the read. JA Andrews really did an excellent job, each new book is better than the last. I think this is much more intriguing and entertaining than some of the other keeper books. It feels like all the best parts of the other books were combined into this trilogy. Its action packed, without seeming too much. The characters get a breather when you feel like you need one yourself. The pacing is great, the story moves along but not too fast or too slow.

The story is fulfilling, has a balance of tragedy, drama, mystery and a satisfying end.

Kate Reading does a great job narrating as always.

The biggest thing I had a hard time with in this series was connecting to the characters, I didn't feel a kinship with many of them. Despite this they felt real to me and it didn't take away from my enjoyment. But I think a lot of people can and will end up relating to the both the protagonists and antagonists in this book and your heart with break multiple times before coming back together.

Action, betrayal, treasure, secrecy, and even dragons! The end of this story was a roller-coaster. So well crafted that even the main character couldn't see the final outcome, and she is apart of a group of famous story tellers! This series is a must have for any fan of fantasy tails.
