The story of Halford House began sixty years ago. Most of those who were part of the original story are now with the Lord. Recently, the Lord spoke to me about setting down in writing my recollections of the story before I myself go to be with Him. I have taken the title of this book from the decree of Cyrus concerning the recovery and rebuilding of the Temple, the House of the Lord in Jerusalem. It is recorded in Ezra 5:15 KJV: Let the house of God be built. My prayer and desire is that the Lord will use the testimony of Halford House, its rebuilding and restoration, to bring illumination and understanding of God’s Purpose for the Church.
