I listened up to chapter 3 and the I couldn’t take it anymore. She comes across as a rich celebrity, name dropping at every turn, with a therapist on speed dial, a feng shui pratitioner decorating her new apartment in New York, contacts in high places providing hockey opportunities for her daughter, and on and on. Good for her, but that kind of support is not what a regular person has when grieving. Maybe the rest of the book gets better? I’ll never know. My eyes are hurting from rolling them so much

constant name dropping and humblebragging in a book about grief. I wish I could have a refund because I didnt find the book relatable people who loved their lost person and struggle themselves
