Life Ventures & Other Stories is an intriguing compilation of personal life experience writings, inspirational stories and prayers, and fictional short stories dispensing mystery and amusement. This short prose genre book consists of three sections and is a unique blend of humor, revelation, and suspense.
Section one: "Life Adventures" shares life experiences through often humorous and entertaining personal essays.
Section two: "Inspiration" consists of enlivening short writings and personal prayers written over a lifetime by author Eric Von Jares.
The final section is a collection of short stories that deal with life issues of managing one's relationships, coping with grief, loss of faith, and self-esteem issues.
Eric Von Jares wrote his first creative work - a poem at age 15 - and became a lifelong fan of the written word. After attaining a graduate degree, he continued to write poetry, short stories, and magazine articles for national publications such as Parents Magazine and The Saturday Evening Post. His poetry book, Chronicles of a Romantic, is also now available along with other writings.
