This book is essentially a step-by-step manual of what it takes to become a paramedic. If you are considering a career in pre-hospital emergency care this is part memoir, part textbook. I stumbled across this at random and I know that I will be buying this in print so that I can go through it over and over again to learn and also reflect as I continue on my own EMS journey.

I read the book before listening to it. The narrator's vocal quality is annoying and he mispronounces many words. For most of this book's audience this is inexcusable.

Kevin Granger's book is beautifully written. This audiobook needs a re-do with a different narrator.
