À propos de cet audio

Cedric Errol is a child living in poverty with his mother in New York City, when all of a sudden, his life is turned upside down. He learns that after the untimely deaths of several distant relatives, he is heir to an enormous estate in England and has inherited the title of Lord Fauntleroy. His grandfather, the earl of Dorincourt, asks that Cedric come to England and begin managing his estate but requires that he leave his mother behind.

Cedric, now going by Lord Fauntleroy, impresses his grandfather with natural charm and intelligence, and his grandfather begins to listen to the wisdom of his grandson. His grandson’s kindness and deliberate wish to help those in need is a good influence on the estate.

But before long, someone new shows up and claims to be the true heir to the inheritance. It is up to Lord Fauntleroy, his grandfather, and his mother to verify his true identity and ensure that his inheritance is not taken by an imposter.

Little Lord Fauntleroy is a classic rags-to-riches story and was one of the most popular stories for children when it was published. It has inspired countless film and television adaptations and remains an endearing story for audiences of all ages.
