Long Range was one of the best so far. Lots of action and a fantastic storyline. A command performance by Nate as a married man and a new father, still possessing his innate ability to sense when something is wrong and dispensing his peculiar form of justice. There were quite a few moments that gave me a grin and a chuckle, usually at Joe Pickett's expense. Each of these books leave me sad that they have ended.
David Chandler is by far my favorite reader. Hearing the first few words of a new Pickett installment make every worry and all anxiety disappear for me, because I know that I've got about the next nine hours to spend in Saddlestring, WY.

C. J. Box never fails to deliver with "hard to put down" book. Have tried to read all of his books but the Joe Pickett series is our favorite.

I’ve read all the Joe Pickett books and this book briefly reintroduces a number of the characters from other Pickett novels. A great first read if you’ve heard about the books but are unsure if you want to delve in. There’s just enough to pique your curiosity to start the journey, and if you’re like me, start rereading the whole series again.
I sure hope we’ll hear from Wyoming and Joe Pickett again.
