Perfectly happy to swap death-defying adventuring for some peaceful research into his semi-living condition, Kanin joins Zyneth on a low-stakes quest to the capital's library. Instead of finding answers on how he can recover his body, however, he launches a heist to steal the library's most powerful artifact, with Zyneth's freedom at stake.
Meanwhile, the predator appears to be creeping back into reality, threatening to overpower Kanin's mind for good.
