love this series. It gives really high highs, and really low lows. this book in the series is honestly a little hard to get through for how sad it gets, but man is it worth it. love these characters. love this world. love this writting

poor protagonist

Going into this I knew what to expect from the story but boy my emotions were everywhere listening to it!
The way you could hear how desperation in their voices. All the scenes between Saffron and Cylvan had me crying. They are so sweet with each other. I just want them to be happy!!! Also those last chapters had me on the edge of my seat. Christian Leatherman did a wonderful job bringing this characters to life once again! I truly can’t wait to hear what he has in store next for book 3!
