Hooked

Lexi and Dean met 11 years ago and quickly fell in love. 9 years later, Dean had a stroke and became a shell of a man and began to turn away from Lexi more and more each day. One day after his PT session, Dean tells Lexi that she needs to find a new man and have a child with someone else as he doesn’t love her that way anymore. Lexi is heartbroken and goes to her BFF’s house for the night. They decide to get their hair done at Cherry’s mom’s salon and then go out for drinks and enjoy the night. While they are at the bar, Lexi meets Mac (Hunter) and they quickly have a connection like no other. She introduces herself as “Blue” to keep it safer for her and they end up spending the night together. She leaves before Mac (Hunter) wakes up, leaving him a note. Mac (Hunter) realizes that he can’t stop thinking about her and sets out to find Lexi (aka Blue).
This is the most I can say without giving spoilers. I absolutely loved this book. I rate it 4.5 stars! Highly recommend.
