I quite enjoyed this quick but content rich memoir by Palestinian American writer Randa Jarrar. I always enjoy when the author of a memoir is also the narrator. Jarrar has a very vivid and imaginative prose. I found myself drifting off to the various locations she mentions in her book. I relate to the family dynamics she describes and the hardship in being a first generation American as an Arab. I recommend it to open, non judgmental and curious readers.
