Description

I can’t let my captor claim me as his mate…no matter how much I want him….

I’ve been swept off my feet before, and I’ve got the bruises to show just how badly that ended. I’m not about to fall at the feet of the next man - or alien - to cross my path. Especially not when he steals me away from home and wants to use me as his broodmare.

Kloran is intense and sometimes scary. A prince of his people with a duty so deeply ingrained, it’s hard to see where it ends and he begins. But the glimpses of the man beneath the hardened warrior prince make me wonder if there’s something more between us....

Great story...dark journey and steamy energy.

Great story ... amazing book in the series or as a standalone. Narrators, Logan McAllister and Sierra Kline brought the dark journey and steamy energy together. Passionate from start to finish can't wait for the next book.

These books are not for anyone who like strong female characters

The females in these books seem to be one step away from having the vapors and running to hide every time there is a problem. Serious grow a set ladies and fight don’t cringe and hide letting the men take all the risks. They should fight beside their men not run an hide.

Roxie Ray Always Delivers

I really enjoy the stories woven by Roxie Ray. This bundle contains the first 3 books in the Lunarian Warriors series, and all are filled with drama, intrigue, and of course, STEAM! The alien abductor followed by alien savior trope is always fun.

While this bundle contains the first 3 audiobooks, there are already 7 individual titles in the series in audio. I definitely recommend people listen to the rest of the series, as well. There is a change in the male narrator in later books from McAllister to Gregory Kellen that works great. No need to worry about the change impacting the listening experience negatively. Sierra Kline is her usual, brilliant self. She is highly emotive and really pulls you into the story! Logan McAllister does a good job too, but it's funny that it becomes clear he mispronounced the baby's name! It's a small detail, of course, but it does take you out of the story for a beat.

Roxie Ray is always consistent at delivering exciting stories, intriguing world building, and hot romance. Definitely worth the listen. Every time.

So many eye rolls

There are a couple of places where the author shows the characters learning a new culture in a witty and quite comical way. That’s all the positive feedback I have.

The first book is tolerable, but most of the second book is long monologues about how much each character desires the other, describing every sensation, every tingle, but with no basis for their attraction. No relationship develops between the couple, they just show up in love, and spend most of the book denying their feelings for ridiculous reasons.

I can’t finish these books.

Giving a 2 star is generous

The make narrator ruined the story for me. I don't know why he thought he needed to sound out the heroines name every time he said it! It made the Male main character sound stupid and it was so annoying it was impossible to continue listening! Don't waste your money on this audible. I think I'll just read the books for myself.

Update* The next 2 books were read much better and were very well written. I changed my opinion to 4 stars.

Alien romance

Enjoyable romance stories that transport you away from the problems currently on earth. The various races of aliens was realistic and would have been good with different races from earthalso

avoid these boxes, narrators and author.

Struggled to get through one and a half books of the 3 book set. The voices of the characters were strained, decrepitly slow and were so monotone, that I found myself thinking of other things like grocery lists, the color of my chipped toenail polish and the over taxed middle class. It was like listening to an old farmer giving directions based on where someone "use-ta live". The writing was atrocious. The author dumbed down the characters and the entire story for reasons I cannot fathom. There was no imagination utilized. I've read the back of cereal boxes that were more interesting and better written.

All of the other reviewers are correct, this is a Fantastic serious!

So I only have a couple series bundle book series, And after completing book two, I immediately went in and bought the next four through seven bundle in the series. Fantastic narration, a great storyline, and action it keeps your interest through every book. I highly recommend this series!

Edit after reading the complete series:
So this review is just on my opinion of my current feelings after reading the series. The reason why I say that is because all of the books are written exceptionally well. They get your interest from the very beginning and hold it till the end. You know clearly what’s going on, the romance between characters is amazing and I highly recommend all of the books. However, the storyline changes in the beginning of book 6. An event occurs that affects everyone in the books prior. Without giving any spoilers, I personally wished that I hadn’t read past book 4. Honestly, each book could be read individually, or singularly. But the change in events that occurs just doesn’t make sense. These warriors have shown no remorse or restraint when it comes to the women they love. And then all of the sudden in book 5, it seems that they’ve turned into pussies. All that they stand for and care for was cast aside. And it seems the main characters were the ONLY ones in the whole world that wanted protection for females. Before book 6, they would just march in and slaughter whoever was the villain. Then the situation does a 180, and everyone bows down and accepts it (maybe a few implied casualties from characters in previous books, (which sucks because of the attachment you gain from the prior books) But with all the strength, ruthlessness, dedication and ferocity these warriors have, that all went down the drain between books 4&5 apparently). If I didn’t know better, I would swear that they changed authors and books 5/6. That said I really do think it’s a good series! It’s one of the better ones that’s out there. And when you’re reading all of the books you’re excited for the next book! But, I would highly recommend just leaving the series after reading book 4.

Decent story, hot smut.

I really enjoyed the first book. I know many people say that the female lead wasn't very strong. However let's see you do backflips when you're pregnant. I actually think it's pretty brave that she was escaping an abusive relationship. There is also build up in the romance and I really appreciate that. I would call this dubious consent, since so much of it has to do with her being kidnapped as a slave. But you landed a prince, so you know, Good for her.

The second book though had a real Karen, somebody who was always asking to see the manager, and it drove me nuts. She had very few redeeming qualities. She likes kids. I guess there's that. I like the male lead better in this one.

The beginning of the third book was such a huge divergence from the first two, I didn't even recognize that it was part of this series.

“Out of the frying pan into another freaking frying pan.”

Book 1: Abducted by the Warrior Prince

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚🖤💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 😪😵‍😑🥺

The heroine: Bria - she was married and was abused by her husband. She grew up in sector six, but married a man from sector one. She didn’t look the part for sector one society (not blonde and thin), she is brunette and curvy. She was grey class and her sector one badge showed that. She shouldn’t be leaving her sector. Her badge tagged her as being from a lower class than the blue class of sector one. Leaving her husband wasn’t easy, but she wanted to get out of her marriage alive.

The Hero: Kloran - he is a prince of Lunaria and tasked with finding breeding slaves to save his species from extinction within the next generation. He purchased Bria on the breeding slave market thinking she had agreed to being a slave at auction.

The Story: Kloran and his crew find out quickly that Bria was under duress and had not agreed to her situation. They are worried that if she dies, they will not be able to buy another slave at auction and if they returned her then she might end up in a worse situation than with them.

The Lunarian’s decide that they still want to see if a woman from Earth is able to carry a half Lunarian child. Since none of their other breeding slaves have been able to get pregnant from being inceminated. Now that they know Bria is not a slave and never agreed to be in the slave auction, they have to free her but if she gets attracted to one of the Lunarian’s and the make a baby the old fashioned way, of her own free will, then all the better for them.

The book was told in dual points of view using dual narration. The narrators were Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister. I like duet narration much better where the female narrator does all the female parts and the male narrator does all the male parts. However, these two did a good job and I tend to pick books that have a male and female narrator whether it is dual or duet narration. Sierra did a great job as Bria, who is anxious and hesitant due to her abusive background.
