So I really hate it how the quest system marks I feel like if there’s a piece of shit in the game, a quest should be released right away and the players and PCs should be hunted down as soon as you know someone does so at least that’s how I would’ve had it And I kind of feel like for this gameplay it should be done in two different ways one way where you could play it while you were awake and you know you would be strapped in something that would allow you to stay stationary, but you would be able to move around so you could fight in the game and in real life that way training in real life would actually do you some good specially with the physical stuff and learning how to actually sword fight for example and then of course you know sleeping while gaming

I thoroughly enjoyed this newest addition to the Nova Terra world.
I would love to see this book made into a trilogy (not sure there's enough for a full series, but there's definitely more to explore)

Great Story! fills in some gaps to Alf's story

In Nova Terra, Alph was my second fave comic relief char, next to wonderful Akira. I was looking forward to reading his origin and quite hyped when the audio was released. But, as the story progressed, I felt a little bit disappointed. Yes, he was clumsy - typical Alph. Yes, he was endearing in his naivete, typical Alph. But I didn't get a sense of really getting in under his skin. After the entire novel, I still felt I didn't know him better. Yes, ok the guild stuff was uncovered, but no shocking surprise there. It was kind of a no-brainer. Actually that sort of sums my feelings up for the whole story. Very professionally written, all the dots in the right place, but no feeling of Alphs true essence, he seemed too 2-dimentonal in many ways. And it saddens me. If there is a second spin-off of any of the other chars in Thorns entourage, I will by it and listen. But this one only got a 4 star story wise from me. I'm so sorry, Seth, you know I love your writing normally.

I love all the Nova Terra books… except this one. I thought a book starring him would be my favourite but I was just glad it ended.
