This story has great potential, when two boys who are closer then brothers are growing to become men when invaders force them to grow up faster then most children should. Feist has restored his original manuscript to add depth and detail previously missed when he first published.

An excellent blend of Norse and Greek lore into a mythology very unique and amazing.

Nicholas Smith has a great voice, but doesn't seem to be paying attention to the story he's reading at all. He frequently emphasises the wrong words in a sentence, which breaks the flow and is terribly distracting. It's like he's just listening to his own voice instead of the story itself. Although I LOVE this author, I will never again buy an audiobook with Nicholas Smith narrating.

Writing is so wonderfully descriptive and yet not overly drawn out. Narration was on point! Still don't know how the narrator was able to remember all the various voices put on for each character.

I would recommend this book for anyone looking for inspiration to run dnd; relatively low magic, believable characters, some minor court intrigue, good tension, and of course, adventure! The narrators performance was excellent and speaks clearly.
