Surprisingly deep! I think upon second read it truly is the perfect ending. Warning: deals with loss of a loved one. The book is about grief, forgiveness and moving on. Book 1 and 3 will they, won't they? Dragged a bit for me this has so much more depth. It is long great narrators. I am so excited for Christian and Daisy's stories to continue!

An emotionally charged finale to Magnolia and BJ's story! I put off reading this book for a LONG time. The audiobook was great, absolutely love Adam Hugill as BJ. His performance made this book so much better for me.
It had all the drama and trauma I've come to yearn for from this series. I loved that we got to see Magnolia go on a journey of grief, I felt it made her more relatable than in the other books. I was holding back tears many a time, and the tears were flowing at others.
BJ really redeemed himself in this book. I have to admit, I wasn't a huge fan of his in the previous books. He really put in the work and proved he's worthy of Magnolia's love in this one though. All the little acts of service and love he showed us built him up, especially through her grief. I felt like he went from a boy in the other books to a man in this one. The ending was a perfect way to close off their story, it couldn't have been better.
As always, we get to check in on all our other fave characters. It left me at a loss for words when it came to Daisy and Christian, and I NEED to know that my man Julian's heart is going to be OK. I'm begging for the next book!
