Amy Harmon is becoming my new favourite author. The beginning of the story was a bit slow paced but overall a good listen.

I wasn't sure what to expect for a "romance" but it was well written and I really fell in love with the characters. It was a bit preachy in a spot or two but quite enjoyable. The narrator was excellent.

I loved how the characters of Fern, Ambrose, and Bailey emerged. The narrator was very good, capturing each character and their emotions!!

Usually I prefer a female narrator, but Rob Shapiro was totally invested in his reading of this love story and read it beautifully. Amy's words felt like she put everything into telling her story of great characters carved around a gut wrenching story we all know and totally brought the story full circle. A delicate, loving and believable tale, I read the whole book within 24 hours. Enjoy!

I will write a full review on goodreads. all I can say is Amy Harmon you are a Queen. Few writers cna capture the depths of loss and the balance of life as well as you have. This story is not only one of coming of age, loss, love it is about life itself and every emotion, every action, injustice and the behaviours that make us simply human.
