I didn’t think this series could get any better, but it absolutely did! I might even love this book more than the first. The romance and angst in this one were top tier for me. I adored how Gil took care of Ivy—their connection was instant, and I was completely captivated by their fast-paced story. The suspense was intense, keeping me on the edge of my seat and guessing who the villain was until the end. And I swooned every time Gil called Ivy "Buttercup"! This story had a beautiful blend of best friends to strangers to lovers, and I was here for all of it. Now, I’m beyond excited for Tessa and Zane’s story—the build-up has been fantastic, and I can’t wait!
