Mandy is abducted by aliens and kept as a pet.

These aliens seem nice enough, but she needs to figure out how to communicate with them and get back to Earth. Her alien captor finds everything about his new pet adorable, from her tiny toes to her blunted claws to her shiny mane. He will do everything in his power to make sure that his cute little pet remains healthy and happy. But what happens when this giant tentacled alien finds out his lovely pet is a sentient person who wants more from him than pets and treats?

It’s a fun little story. Kind of reminds me of Lyn gala’s “Earth fathers are weird.”

This was just cute. I had no idea what I was getting into when I saw this on Audible Plus. Never heard of this series or the author, but it seemed fairly short and I wanted a light read. This was very much that.

I listened to this for fun, I didn’t really focus too much on the little things or delve deeper. To me, it was just a light romance. It was cute, I was amused, and some things didn’t make sense, but I went with it.

Since I did listen to this, I wanted to comment on the narrators. I very much enjoyed the male narrator, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the female narrator. I’m not sure what it was, but I would have preferred the male narrator the entire time rather than her chapters.

Will I listen/read the next book in the series? Maybe. Not in a rush but maybe next time I want something light to read or listen to.
