Tristan has known that he and his family were going to be on the first mission to colonize Mars since he was 12 years old, and he has been training ever since. Fabulous story. Great narration. I will listen to this again in the future. I loved it.

I'm used to Maberry's Joe Ledger series, and this is a big departure from that sort of story. This is arguably a YA novel, but it manages to play with the cliché tropes of the genre without being burdened by them. Great listen.

Maberry left Joe Ledger behind with this book. He can write something without zombies and action heroes. The story is probably aimed at the young adult crowd but i enjoyed anyway. Good characters and excellent narration.
