I really liked this book, I wish they went a little more into detail about the characters past since it’s brought up so much. Close to the end of the book, the conversations that the character has with their mom ruined it for me. I found it irritating, unrealistic and I almost decided not to finish it but since it was so close to the end I pushed through, although my investment diminished completely.

I laughed so hard at some of Jace's shenanigans pre wedding for all the weddings he has been part of. Emily's seriousness is the perfect counterpoint to Jace's blasé way of life. Love the story and the history between these two over time and why they are the way they are. Narration was well done. I would love to hear more about the characters and will read more from this author.
