American society has become anti-male. Men are sensing the backlash and are responding. They're dropping out of college, leaving the workforce, and avoiding marriage and fatherhood at alarming rates. The trend is so pronounced that a number of books have been written about this man-child phenomenon, concluding that men have taken a vacation from responsibility. Well-Reasoned Arguments
These types of books are important to push back on the dominant cultural narrative and expose the inequalities that our society seems to overlook or even celebrate. Smith does a good job of explaining the cultural biases against men and offering real solutions, and I liked that she interviewed real men and frequently quoted average people who she has spoken with. She also interviews and frequently quotes Christina Hof-Summers and her book The War on Boys, and if I'm being honest, I would recommend just reading that book instead of this one.
What keeps this from being a 5-star review is the ideological bias. She mentions frequently that she is conservative and writes for a conservative website, which is fine, but then says things like "Liberals would have you believe..." when describing some ignorant opinion about men. And sure, it's true that most feminists are liberal, but most racists are conservative. Would it be appropriate to say "Conservatives would have you believe..." and throwing out some racist opinion? It adds nothing to the discussion and pushes away potential allies. Being concerned about the plight of men isn't the realm of one ideology, everybody should be involved and nobody should be made to think that the fight for true gender equality is actually a fight AGAINST them because they vote or think a certain way. Some authors just can't help but throw in a jab at their perceived opponents whenever they get the chance but it really doesn't do the book any favors or further her arguments. It casts her arguments in a bad light and made me start to notice parallels between these rational arguments and the ramblings of far-right commentators, incel ideology and the Tucker Carlson/Jordan Peterson crowd. Most of her points would still be completely valid without subtly demonizing her political opponents and scaring away potential allies. Christina Hof-Summer does none of this in The War Against Boys and it ends up being a much better book.

Everyone can relate to this book!. Liberating!!!
This Amazing book is God sent for anyone who needs to understand men, from their side, their fears and what a lot of men sacrifice. Everyone should study this book!

Excellent book!
loved this book. Validation to what we are all feeling but are told to "suck it up princess" when we try and discuss it! The section about paternity fraud really hit home as I've had a couple of friends go through that with NO recourse!

Must read
Great book great narrator,
As the pussafication of The Western world continues, this is a must read for all man, especially for young man starting out, as they will better understand why things are the way they are and what to do about it, I give this one a solid five stars
