A must read for anyone going through the menopause

Another erudite offering from Jane Thurnell-Read. As a physician and also someone personally navigating the joys of menopause, I was eager to read this book. As expected from this author, the recommendations in this book are backed with evidence from the medical literature and professional societies, weaved through with personal insights, and pearls of wisdom. The author takes a practical approach and the book is easy to understand and digest. If you are looking to use and understand the evidence-based benefits of the pillars of lifestyle medicine to smooth the passage through menopause, this is the book for you. I highly recommend!

So complete!

Wow, Jane has gone to great effort to pull research on causes for menopause weight gain from a broad selection of sources. it's definitely not simply about eat better, exercise more! Even though I'm a wellness consultant myself, I still learned facts and feel more motivated to take charge of a few habits sooner rather than later!

Very Informative

I found this book to be very resourceful when it comes to dealing with menopausal issues, weight gain and leading a healthy, active life style. I will be using this book as my go to guide when I need motivation to get moving and be more accountable for my lifestyle choices. I also love that all of the work presented was backed by scientific research.
