New narrator is terrible
This new narrator is terrible. After 10 mins of listening to her, I turned this off. I will be disappointed if she continues narrating for KL Slater!

Enjoyed
Not bad at all and I didn’t guess the twist ending! It felt a little too long and drawn out but I was intrigued and never considered not finishing!

Repetitive, monotonous, one-dimensional plot
I struggled with getting half way through this book. I wanted to like it but the constant, repetitive, incessant introspective commentary of the protagonist became so annoying. Yes, you are heartbroken, but seemingly every few paragraphs the same description of the same distraught feelings went on and on and on and on. Nothing really happened in the novel, shallow plot. with almost no side plots or story development. I wondered if the story would have read better if it wasn't first person narrative? Sorry, did not enjoy this read.

Unbelievable ending, repetitive story
Usually the twists in Slater's books are cool and interesting. this one was totally blah and really not believable at all, none of it. Moreover, the story kept repeating same things over and over, I skipped over full chapters and didn't miss anything. The ending was truly disappointing!
Narration was great though. But that was the only good thing about this book, in my opinion.

Looonnng and Boring!!!!!
I listened to entire 15 chapters and nothing happened in this story! It felt like it was never ending! If I ever have trouble sleeping, I'll put this story on and I'll be out like a light!
The only good part was the Narrator. She does an excellent job. I hope that next time she finds a better story to narrate.

Good so far but…
Always love KL Slater’s books on Audible, but I was sad to see, or hear rather, that Lucy Price-Lewis wasn’t the narrator!!

Just started
I’m very disappointed that Lucy price Lewis is not the narrator for this one. I was waiting to read on my kindle until the audible version was released just for that reason. I just started so we’ll see how it goes. I know the book is gonna be amazing (I own all of KL Slaters books) she’s an amazing author. Will update when I’ve finished.
Ok, so I finally finished and gotta say that I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the others. It was good but maybe would’ve enjoyed more if I read myself rather than listening. I wasn’t a fan of the narrator.

The main character is a whinny, self righteous wench
Trigger warning. Do not read if you have not finished this book and want to read it.
Who should be in jail. She murdered her little brother and judges all those around her, and is unable to forgive them. Yet, their crimes are not nearly as horrific as her murdering her brother.

Wow! What a mystery with so many twists
I have listened to a few K.L. Slater books and so far this is my absolute favorite! It’s full of suspense, and the character development makes you feel as if you really know the characters and you come to understand them as well.
If you like K.L. Slater books this is a must!

This book was amazing!
It takes a lot for a book to keep my interest all the way through but “Missing” grabbed me at the beginning and didn’t let go until the end. About the time you think you have things figured out, here comes another twist…clear to the last page. Also, I thought the narration was great. This is the first book I have read by K. L. Slater and I think she has a gift for writing psychological thrillers. She has now become one of my favorite authors and I can’t wait to read more books she’s written.
