Ishmael soon learns that Ahab seeks one specific whale: Moby Dick, a ferocious, enigmatic white sperm whale. In a previous encounter, the whale destroyed Ahab's boat and bit off his leg. And Ahab intends to take revenge.

My most difficult listening experience so far.The story is epic and deserves to be read by all who are interested but the narrator lacks cadence, and listening at a higher speed is very jolted.
