A familiar concept with a supernaturally twist progression, Monarch is captivating and draws one in, especially once the reluctant prince begins his journey after his coronation speech. Enjoyably disturbing in all the right ways...

Pretty good actually

Not a fan of time loops in general but decided to check it out since it was free. Even at that price its not worth the time lost listening to it. The characters arent very appealing and the constant deaths drags out certain plot lines to annoying degrees. The narration is ok but he doesnt do female voices all that well, tho thats a big ask for a guy so its passable. The biggest issue is that it's just boring especially the first half. Most likely due to the bland characterization i just couldnt care about the plot. The mc is poorly written his father is depicted as a monster but instead of dealing with the problem directly he choses a childish plan that amounts to a rebellious tantrum instead of the revenge he should have sought.
