Great Story

This story was an odd blend. It was very much a second chance with a first love book, but at the same time it also went pretty deep into addiction and how it effects both the individual and those around them. If you want light hearted, this isn't it. It's pretty rare for me to finish a romance sad, but that's what happened here and it's not what I am looking for out of a romance.

was good story, good narrator, will try another of both. storyline good, interesting plot, at least narrator did different voices for different people to differentiate who is talking.

It was super cute at first. I loved the idea of the flashbacks and it was so so sweet when they finally linked up. The climax was strong, but just never ended. Kelsey ended up getting on my nerves. She was so sweet but ended up just being a narcissist.

I enjoyed this book but, if I am being honest, this was not the heavy read I was expecting or hoping for, I choose this author for the romance and the heat she so easily brings. The story itself was so well written, just not the kind of story I wanted.
