This is an entertaining read. Lachlan and Hyacinth are interesting, intriguing, complex, wounded, entertaining characters. I enjoyed these characters both as a couple and individually. Hyacinth’s growth throughout the story was good to see. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment.

I enjoyed the audio version of this story and the narrator.
