I loved the concept of artistic humans seeing into a quasi-demonic realm. Rhodes uses John Milton’s Paradise Lost to inspire Cera’s world and Milton himself as a character in the story. Brilliant. Definitely a worthwhile read for teens and YA looking for clean thought-provoking fantasy.
