the voice used for the main character was so annoying- to me - which i found strange as the voices for the other characters were fine - was looking forward to the series but as it is the same performer i won’t be listening to them as the storyline was interesting

I have listened to hundreds of books in all genres, as well as read physical books by the thousands and my goodness this author is sooooo boring! I tried. I cannot listen to the overwhelming protracted explanations of every single thing. If you like being bogged down by minutiae, this is for you. If you require an actual moving plot, then NO! RUN!
