This was one of the first audiobooks I picked up, several years ago. I gave it a second listen tonight at work. I really enjoyed the Miss Fisher TV show, so I thought, this should be nice.
I liked it, but obviously there are differences between the novels and the TV show. Here, Ms. Fisher is a little sharper or more cynical, maybe, and while the "romance" is mostly off screen, in the novel, it gets right into it. Which is not really my thing, but that's okay.
It's a fun sort-of classic style mystery, with some character development from the previous book.
