À propos de cet audio

After a thousand dates and hookups, I'd given up....

....then the doorbell rang.

Michael was a newborn gay not too many years ago. His first date was accidental. The ones that followed were adventures.

Now, in his 30s, he wonders if finding a lasting relationship is even possible. Frustrated by the internet's failure to help him find true love, Michael swears off dating and decides to focus on his career.

Then Heath shows up and rolls on the floor with Michael's furry best friend. The normally wary pup instantly falls for the irresistible stranger, but will Michael's heart bloom with also passion?

You'll love this book because everyone dreams of a happy ending.

Join Michael's journey today!

My Last Date is the final volume in the hilariously cheeky, best-selling Raised by Wolves series, a contemporary MM romance series about a newborn gay finding himself, told in the author's own voice. It explores the fullness of life, including hurt/comfort, found family, sexual awakening, love, loss and rebirth--and a guy who finally realizes who he is and what he wants.

I usually listen to gay romance audiobooks as a guilty pleasure while cooking or out on a walk, so I’ve heard plenty of the same predictable beats — which left me bored lately. Casey Morales’s My Last Date was a welcome and thrilling exception. The title may feel misleading at first, but what follows is anything but formulaic.

Morales draws me fully into the characters’ world with crisp, believable dialogue and emotionally layered scenes. The relationship that unfolds had me first envious, then heartbroken, and finally riding a true emotional roller coaster. The twists and turns were unexpected and earned, not tossed in for shock value, which made the story feel both fresh and relevant.

If you’re tired of cookie-cutter gay romance plots, give My Last Date a listen — it surprised me in the best way and reminded me why I love this genre.
