most of the story is ok but honestly the fatphobia and (self) body shaming is very ugh, and often enough that it gets old fast, especially when the protagonist starts drooling over men 🙄

The author did an exceptional job at masking the killer, I thought. It took only one line for me to figure out who it was though and it was so subtle I just instantly loved the story. I swayed a few times on the subplots though, which made it more fun and the characters are awesome! Cant wait to bite into book two.

Slow moving story and not much of a mystery. I figured out who the killer was early on in the story. Also, I found the narrator sounded like A.I. For that reason I doubt I'll read the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed this book. The story was funny and interesting and kept me listening. The one liners were very funny and had me laughing out loud. And just enough intrigue and spookiness. The narration was also very good.
