Wow. Had to stay up late every night to finish
I think I’ve found another favourite author! The story was wonderful. Had all the great twists turns and baddies. Can’t wait to pick up the next one.

Irrational rejection of their love
The story is well written, funny, and is worth listening to for chapter 5 alone. It was so cute and funny that I LOL. The premise is fun and the first ten chapters or so were delicious.
My main issues were that the emotions were over explained when obvious and under explained when more was needed. Why the MMC rejects her and acts like an ass is irrational and the fact that it stemmed from self pity makes it intolerable.
Why she would allow him liberties when she disrespected him not to mention him degrading her, just because he says he’s been thinking about her is inconsistent to the strong character she’s supposed to be.
Because the feelings were inconsistent, and there was a lack of respect from him to her then her to herself, I found the romance unbelievable. I thought both MCs should learn to love themselves before falling for a person whom they disrespected so much.
