I enjoyed this book up until the ridiculous parts about the ex and drugs etc. Those parts felt like they were thrown in to add drama without any real direction and to make the story longer than it should have been.

the story was interesting but I hated the main character, seemed really shallow, interested in how good looking everyone is and how much money they have before all other qualities.

Hmm the story was just fine nothing much. It’s was really hard for me to follow ( I don’t know why) they had sex but I listen to it like nothing happened. If you are looking for something to a light listen this is it.

Meh, is how I felt throughout listening to it. The characters were undeveloped, love story was basic, and plot underwhelming. Most of the narrative drive was a result of poor decisions made by the main character. Over all a yawn.

I enjoyed this book. I wasn’t sure when i started if I’d finish it but it got better. The lead seemed quite self involved at the beginning but she grew on me.

The first three quarters of the book is spent on character development and description. The last quarter of the book was an enjoyable read. Narrator was very good.

This book was mostly ok but what it did badly it did very very badly. There was sexual assault and they just glossed over it like it is just something that happens.
1 it's a book, you can save the girls by stopping the predator. 2 the way the sexual assault is being talked about portrays to the readers that ignoring assault and acting like it's an every day occurrence is what is normal.
I can't even get my thoughts out properly because it made me so mad/upset.

The beginning seemed promising because the main love interest. Unfortunately the main character is unlikeable and her relationships with other characters have very little emotional value. Even with serious themes the story didn’t have me invested it was all over the place.

This story is all over the place… it tries to do way too much plot-wise without actually developing relatable or likeable characters at all. I didn’t feel invested whatsoever and lost interest after the first few hours. The writing/dialogue/plot contradicted itself several times… sort of felt like a misogynist trying to convince the reader they’re feminist. I’d listen to it to go to sleep and didn’t even care about playing back the parts I missed the next day, which says a lot.
