I loved the narrator for this book. She was absolutely brilliant and didn’t make me feel like I was listening to some 10+ hour boring lecture about the science behind horror movies and books. I felt like I was listening to someone who felt passionately about the topic, was informative, funny and interesting while educating me about horror genre, the science behind why we like horror, how it affects us as well as the effects on us. The importance of horror genre in time and place to demonstrate our cultural fears and worries.
