The audiobook is well written and fast paced so that you are engaged throughout the story.

Disturbing story but excellent recount of the case!

I’ve read a few books about Lake and Ng and this one so far has been the most respectful to the victims and their loved ones. The facts are objectively laid bare with compassion and modest discretion, without sensationalizing the murders - which are horrible enough on their own. As a fiction horror writer, I understand the lure of using lurid descriptions when none are appropriate, so I have immense respect for the authors. They did an amazing job with the material and executed it with poignant dignity and humility.
