À propos de cet audio

Ard and his anchors are off to the capital, but not without his Congratulations—you’re-a-mage horse. Ard has to figure out what it means to be a noble as he struggles with the politics of the capital, fierce beasts and even fiercer rivals. All the while a goddess slips into his household as the staff and works to watch over him and his mother.

Ard has his work cut out for him, but is the capital ready for him? He’s determined to make a mockery of fashion and see what all he can get away with as a not so subtle ‘screw you’ to the new rules he’s been placed under.

Having just finished *Noble Bearings*, the second book in Bruce Sentar's *Ard’s Oath* series, I wanted to share my thoughts. Overall, I found it to be an intriguing continuation of the story, earning a solid **5 stars** in my book.

The world-building is truly impressive; Sentar really knows how to create a captivating universe filled with unique magic systems that felt both rich and immersive. I loved how the intricacies of this world unfolded, making me eager to learn more about the characters and their journeys.

However, while the setting had me hooked, I felt the plot was somewhat less engaging than in the first book. There were moments that dragged on, and I wished for more excitement and tension to keep me on the edge of my seat. Character development seemed to take a backseat in some areas, making it challenging to form deeper connections with certain characters.

Despite these critiques, I still appreciated the artistry of the writing and the potential for future stories in this series. If you enjoyed the first book, I recommend giving *Noble Bearings* a read to see how the adventure unfolds.
