I love a hockey romance, this one is sweet but nothing extraordinary.
I liked FMC Dani and her friend group. Miller is over protective and changes his play boy ways for Dani immediately. A tad unbelievable in my opinion but ai still enjoyed it.

love a hockey romance

I usually love a good hockey romance but there’s nothing that stands out in this story. Horny college kids get drunk, have lots of sex & fall in love. Oh yeah, the guy is athletic, has muscles for days & is the oral King. Add in every single traumatic conflict scenario known to the romance genre, resolved by, you guessed it, more sex., it feels like a first attempt at writing romance.

I ended up listening to it as my nighttime background noise, because I LOVE Tim Paige’s voice.

This was a good book, and a good love story.
But you lost me when there was ALL the possible problems. Rape, house fire followed by a death…
Well written but the story felt crammed (rape one night and the very next night out wasted at the bar with only her girlfriend…?)

I would still say this was a good book, but it lost the grasp of my heart strings & lost the catch it could have had when the story became too much.

Though there are part of the story that is easily expected, (which it’s a romance so understandable and very hard to not expect some of the events) however some of the story took turns that I wasn’t expecting and i honestly loved!

I Love this series by Sheridan Anne. She does a great job of her hockey, and her characters are always relatable and funny. Sophie and Danielle are thrust at the hockey team for their last assignment and smash into the gorgeous players. Miller and Dani are amazing with their push and pull, and Tim and Lidia definitely play off of their characters. Definite yes from me.
