Serena Akeroyd once again coming in hot with this story! Joe Arden of course also coming in hot and heavy and I am so here for it. Lessa Lamb was the PERFECT female for this role with the time she provided, I really felt every emotion she portrayed.

15 of the first 16 chapters are Phoebe's POV and it was difficult to get through.

Weird word choices by the author took me out of the story and were distracting ie. using the word gate for vag1na 🤔

I am not a bully romance fan and I hated the way H treated her for the first half of the book. Calling her fat was disgusting.

Turns out h was 5'10" and H was 6'4"... this discription was given 2/3 of the way through the book. I had a hard time even getting a handle on what the characters looked like as the descriptors were so skewed by the bullying and Phoebe's low self-esteem and lack of confidence

H ⭐️ ⭐️ the Professor as a character was awful even with the backstory. Narration by Joe Arden was excellent as usual.
h ⭐️ ⭐️ Phoebe was annoying to me. I had a hard time listening to the exaggerated narration by Lessa Lamb. I will avoid this narrator in the future.
