The narrator was the best I’ve heard on audible and really matched the story.

The story in itself was great. It dragged me in early and I was hooked. The realism of the situation was as palpable and it felt like an honest retelling of a post-apocalyptic tale. It’s a long story, I’d it has its slow moments I had to push through, but I do feel like that was almost the intention. This was an honest story and not just an action packed novel. The characters were great, but at times felt forced. Overall I would recommend the book and definitely enjoyed it.
