À propos de cet audio
The chains that bound them are breaking. From the shattered world, ancients rise.
Elyon and Saska have been reunited at last—now the hard work begins. Training as they travel, they must put aside their desire in the face of their duty. The heir of Varin has one blade only. One of five. And the others are moving.
Trapped in the depths of the earth, Jonik must find his way out to salvation. He is not alone. Pursued by a horde of hungry creatures, he has only the light of Vandar to protect him. A light and a power that might just awaken something else. Something ancient… and colossal.
Following victory over the Agarathi at Blackfrost, Amron Daecar weighs up his options. A part of him would gather all his strength and strike at once at the heart of the enemy, yet the wiser course is consolidation. The last of the titans are waking, he knows—in the shadow of their conflict, they must prepare.
Across the world, the pieces are moving, nudged here and there by the fingers of fate. Ranulf, Robbert, Emeric, Lythian, and many others will play their part. Whether they know it or not, all are pieces of a bigger puzzle, threads of a tapestry woven through time. There will be tragedy. There will be sacrifice. There will be moments when all seems lost.
Yet the night is darkest just before the dawn. And they must work together to bring the light.
©2025 T.C. Edge (P)2025 Podium AudioYou can at times feel like you are jumping around and ahead days or weeks at a time. It feels necessary at this point in the series to avoid another 2 books and doesn't take away from the story.
Sometimes it feels like you want there to be more detail and explanations of various lore and locations but again for the same reason, it feels like the story must continue.
Character development is excellent for most characters in this book. It feels like they grow a lot. While others seem to die without too much fan fair, and some in the middle.
Overall have to give it 5/5 because the story and the bringing together of plot lines from the previous 6 books is just very very well done and has you wanting more. Can't wait for book 8.
Great addition to the series
