2nd time reading, been years. I can't believe i used to LIKE THIS TERRIBLE BOOK!
Stereotypical angsty teen with massive depression, who is of course ruthlessly bullied throughout the opening chapters. gets all the wrong stereotypical advice from a sterotyoical therapist who should have her license revoked. this advice leads an emotionally vulnerable person to blow all their money and what little remains of their ego on getting dressed up for the school dance. He then gets brutally assaulted by a literal gang of jocs IN PUBLIC AT THE SCHOOL and no Immediate disciplinary action like GEE I DUNNO calling the cops and restraining the dipshits is is forthcoming. So he then of course goes to commit suicide only to be given magic powers....AFTER jumping to what for any real person would be guaranteed death.

Droped 15 chapters in. TW suicide. Avoid if your depressed, being bullied or Have low self esteem
