The twist of the whole story

They live in an interesting world her mother not really her biological mother but she raised her well with her 6 other sisters not by blood.

She was forced to marry a prince with no notice and he wanted nothing to do with her believing she was a horrible witch. Only you can tell they would fall in love, and even the creature stalking their woods killing others I thought was predictable.

It was still an enjoyable story but slow at parts, finding out her history at the end was interesting as I loved how her sister had her back.

The ending was also predictable but again not bad

I really enjoyed listening to this! things got a little convoluted near the end but it ended nicely. I'm ready to listen to the next!

I enjoyed this book and the narration is great. It’s a great story with great characters and a twist ending.

Once I started the book, i could not stop listening. At certain parts I thought I completely had everything figured out and then there would be a twist that I was not expecting. Once I was finished, I had to immediately start the next book in the series.

Slow, boring, no spice at all.. Really cheesey overall. Do not recommend. Forgot own lore midway through the book.

The narrator sounded like she should have been cast in the movie clueless and the story was AWFUL. No likeable characters. No reason to put yourself through more of it. I didn’t finish and I don’t care how it ends. Unless the FMC and MMC die. That’d be great.

The story was cute at the beginning and if it h dog leaned into the romance aspect it would have been good but then it got way too convoluted.
They’re was so many storylines going on and it felt rushed.
This book would have been better as a series.

In my opinion there was little to like about the characters and it had a boring plot line.

This book was a bumpy ride, but I was committed to finishing it. The first 75% felt like a solid 3 to 3.5-star read—decent but not amazing. Then came the last 25%, which was a complete letdown. The author crammed way too much into the final chapters, and when I reached the end, I was genuinely shocked. I even checked my Kindle to make sure there wasn’t a missing chapter because it didn’t feel like a conclusion at all—it just cut off mid-conversation, leaving a lot of loose ends.

And that final trope? It made no sense. There was no buildup, no intimacy or spice throughout the book, and then suddenly that? It felt completely disconnected from the rest of the story, like the author abandoned their own plot just to force a shocking ending and push readers into the next book.
