I was happy to listen to it, mainly to extend knowledge of the lord and other important actors, but at the same time I was never thrilled by this side of the story. I just personally prefer Calder Martin side.

the world mr Wight creates is very impressive and has an amazing amount of potential. however the story line is rather one dimensional and the writing is often on the simplistic side. overall I have enjoyed these books and would say they are worth the read.
