When her baby sister, Oluwashola (Sholly) Arunrayo Adefolalu Gaska, died on December 28, 2016, a part of Salt died along with her. She was going crazy and nobody knew it but the God in her. Eventually, God began to walk her through, guiding her to do things to help her make it through the black haze, and writing this book was one of those things.
Oluwashola: The Story of Us is a beautiful story told in a very conversational style. It’s sometimes funny, sometimes sad, and sometimes quite ugly. Just like life. Salt’s prayer is that as you listen, you will pick up as many lessons as possible, that you will be inspired to become intentional about "being love" like God, and that you will become determined to create as many memories with loved ones as you can.
