Once again, Karissa Vacker gives an outstanding performance narrating Stacey Swann's family drama 'Olympus, Texas.' The novel is well written and nicely paced, with excellent character development. I was totally immersed in the story, loving the dramatic action, and the twisted family dynamics. Often in stories like this, one character is scapegoated as unforgivable. In 'Olympus, Texas,' everyone is somewhat flawed but completely redeemable. These characters and their stories will stay with me for some time. The writing is so immediate and visceral that reading it feels more like watching a movie than like reading a book. The production quality of the audiobook is first-rate.
